I saw a quote on Pinterest that stated, "Whoever said that diamonds were a girls best friend, never owned a dog". That pretty much sums up my relationship with this fluff ball. The only downside of being a chef, is that you can't bring your pooch to work.
Family and Travel
I am a mom to two amazing kids. This is picture of them on our incredible trip to Paris in June of 2014. I'm doing my best to instill them with a love of travel, new cultures and cuisine. Our most recent adventure was to Puerto Rico in February of 2016. Nothing beats a Caribbean getaway in the middle of winter! On tap for 2018, Paris, London and Dubai.

I have been an avid cook and food lover for as long as I can remember. My life has been an incredible series of events and adventures, all of which have a distinct food memory attached to them. I have traveled the world and always joke that don't recall the paintings I saw in a museum, but I could tell you exactly what I ate in the museum cafe.
Several years ago, I enrolled in culinary school at the Art Institute of Atlanta. It was incredibly daunting to be back in a classroom setting, but certainly, with age comes wisdom and I took full advantage of my culinary school experience and enjoyed every minute of it. Additionally, I have had many wonderful opportunities to acquire hands on cooking skills while working with many talented local chefs.
